    Hays County Complains

    The Hays County Development Services is responsible for investigating complaints within the purview of the department and within its jurisdiction.


    Outlined below are examples of the various types of complaints the department is responsible for investigating.

    Development / Construction Floodplain Food Establishments
    Foodborne Illness General Sanitatio Illegal Dumping
    On-Site Sewage Facilities Stormwater Solid Waste
    Vector Control / Rodents

    Complaints may be filed anonymously online by following the below steps.

    1. Visit MyGovernmentOnline

    2. Click “Customer Portal”, Select “State” (Texas), and Select "Jurisdiction” (Hays County), then click “GO”.

    3. Click “Submit A Request” followed by “Complaints”, then click the category which best describes the complaint or issue you are having.

    4. You will then be prompted to “Log-In” or “Proceed Anonymously”.

    5. Please fill out the remaining questions with as much detail as possible.

    Complaints may be filed by submitting a written complaint to the department to any of the following inboxes.
