HAYS COUNTY DAYCARE INSPECTIONS

The Environmental Health Division of Hays County Development Services is responsible for inspecting childcare facilities within its jurisdiction.

Hays County will inspect daycare facilities upon request. The fee for the inspection is $100.00. A food establishment permit is required for any permitted facility that receives 13 or more children for childcare, which prepares food for on-site consumption.
