The Preserve is Open:

January—October:
Thursday – Sunday       8 a.m.-4 p.m. No admittance after 2 p.m.

November—December:
Wednesday – Friday     8 a.m.-4 p.m. No admittance after 2 p.m.

Preserve Closures: Gay Ruby Dahlstrom Nature Preserve will be closed to the public annually on several occasions (listed below). During those times no visitors will be allowed on the property and no public events will be held.
January 1-8
April - Easter Week
September 1-8
December 14-31

In addition to the above closures, the Gay Ruby Dahlstrom Preserve is closed on the following county holidays:
Thursday, November 22, 2024 (Thanksgiving)
Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2024 (Christmas)
Wednesday, Jan. 1, 2025 (New Year’s Day)

Sunday, April 20, 2025 (Easter)

Visitors to the Preserve for a tour or day pass must pay the associated fees when making the reservation.
