Jacob's Well is a day-use nature preserve in Hays County. We welcome visitors to the preserve for free to enjoy hiking, birding, geocaching, guided tours, the nature center and other park amenities (with the exception of swimming).

Swimming in Jacob's Well has typically been allowed May 1-September 30. However, ground conditions at the well may not improve by that time. Though swimming is not currently allowed, if and when we reopen the well for swimming, we will share a link to our reservation system. All reservation sales are final and we are unable to offer refunds.

Below is a list of swimming fees in the event that the Hays County Parks Department decides to allow swimming after May 1.
